Associate Director, Rockefeller Foundation
Margot Brandenburg is Associate Director at the Rockefeller Foundation, where she works on multiple initiatives that pertain broadly to economic development, including Impact Investing and the Campaign for American Workers. Within the Impact Investing portfolio, she leads a set of metrics-related activities, including the Foundation's role in IRIS and GIIRS. Prior to joining the Foundation, Margot worked in the field of microfinance, mostly in sub-Saharan and North Africa. She has held positions at the African Development Bank and the Microfinance Information eXchange (MIX), and has spent extended periods of time providing technical assistance to microfinance and community development institutions in the US and Africa.
